The staff of GHNHRC stands ready:

To work with the health care team to better understand the implications and impact of the environmental and emotional factors of illness.

To help the resident/family or friend in understanding these factors and to assist them in making constructive use of our medical and psychosocial services.

To continue to coordinate the residents’ care and services to enhance the quality of life.

To facilitate the productive utilization of community resources to meet their needs.

To assist the resident/family or friend in coping and adjusting to problems of illness and the need for facility placement.

To serve as advocates in helping residents/ families or friends to understand our institutional setting and to provide appropriate intervention promptly when needed.
